The Inn at Arch Rock rose up from the circa 1948 Arch Rock Motel and Cottages to combine the elegance and romance of Cape Cod with the ruggedness and casual comfort of the Oregon Coast. Situated on the north side of Depoe Bay, the Inn looks south across the bay to the interaction of the mighty Pacific and the rocky shoreline of black basalt. From the comfort of your room or an Adirondack chair on our lawn, enjoy storm watching, whale watching, or just the peace and quiet of stepping off the beaten path.
In the morning, join us for fresh baked pastries, fruit, juice and locally roasted coffee from Pirate Coffee Company. Dine in our lobby and visit with other guests… our small and friendly staff is happy to visit with you and help you plan your activities for the day. When you’re ready to start your day, you can explore historic Depoe Bay. Stroll through charming seaside shops, enjoy the freshest seafood available, and tour the bay itself, the world’s smallest working harbor! Depoe Bay also makes claim as the Whale Watching Capital as a resident group of grey whales makes its home in the bay and surrounding waters. Local whales and those passing through at migration times can be seen 8 or more months of the year. Watch for them to play and feed in the kelp beds near to our shores.
